Hennessey Is Ready For The EV Revolution

Enthusiasts want more power, and tuners big and small will bring it to them. It seems a new manufacturer (rightly) jumps on the electrified bandwagon every day. Jaguar has promised to electrify its fleet, Audi is taking its bread-and-butter A4 and A5 are adding volts and Volkswagen, well, you know what it did. But right now, it seems like we re at polar ends as enthusiasts. There are cheaper hybrid and electric vehicles like the Toyota Prius and VW ID.4, and then insane electric supercars like the Porsche Taycan and McLaren P1. But in a decade or two, when the kids are driving used Nissan Leafs and Toyota Priuses and Chevy Bolts, what will they be able to do improve performance, beyond tires and suspension?

Finally! Tesla Refunds Double-Charged Customers

Why did it take so long? No automaker is perfect, though some so-called Tesla fanboys will wholeheartedly disagree. Mistakes happen and it s up to that company to rectify them in a timely manner. Unfortunately, it s taken Tesla far too long to settle the little matter of double charging several customers. The fiasco began earlier this year when CNBC uncovered far too many instances where buyers, many of whom purchased a new Tesla Model Y, were charged twice for their purchases without notice or authorization. Tesla s customer service representatives were less than helpful. Some promised refunds that never materialized while others instructed affected buyers to ask their banks to block the double payment.

Tesla Continues To Defy All Expectations

2021 s first delivery numbers are in. Those who thought Tesla could soon lose its status as the world s most valuable automaker couldn t be more wrong. Since beating out Toyota for that title last summer, Tesla has been on a roll and it s continuing in 2021. For the first three months of the year, Tesla posted record deliveries despite the many challenges automakers continue to face as the world tries to emerge from the coronavirus pandemic. It also defied Wall Street expectations. We are encouraged by the strong reception of the Model Y in China and are quickly progressing to full production capacity, Tesla said in an official statement. The new Model S and Model X have also been exceptionally well received… and we are in the early stages of ramping production.
