New Delhi [India], February 22 (ANI): The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Monday said that Central Police Forces (CPF) are routinely sent in advance to poll stations for area domination to all the States or Union Territories where Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections are to take place and not specifically to West Bengal.
The ECI said this in the wake of some reports that CPFs have been sent specifically to West Bengal.
In an official statement, the ECI said that it had come to its notice that certain sections of media have reported on CPFs being sent specifically to the State of West Bengal.

Starting today, full occupancy will be allowed in cinema halls while following all COVID-related protocols, said Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Prakash Javadekar on Sunday.
This move by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting should come as a relief to cinema halls that were closed for nearly seven months last year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Even after opening they have been struggling with low audience attendance and very few new film offerings.

NEW DELHI: The Centre on January 30 announced that cinema halls and movie theatres can operate with 100 per cent capacity from February 1.
Releasing the latest SOP for the functioning of the movie halls and theatres, Minister of Environment, Forest & Climate Change; Information & Broadcasting, Prakash Javadekar on his Twitter handle wrote, Good news for Cinema lovers: Today, Issued the revised SOP for the film exhibition, 100% occupancy will be allowed in theatres from 1st February, but all @MoHFW INDIA #COVID19 guidelines will have to be followed.

New Delhi [India], January 31 (ANI): Starting Feb 1, full occupancy will be allowed in cinema halls while following all COVID-related protocols, said Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Prakash Javadekar on Sunday. Online booking of tickets will be encouraged. Detailed guidelines have been released, the Minister said.
Terming the decision as good news for cinema lovers , the Minister said that Union Home Ministry had given the nod to the decision of opening the cinema halls on January 27.
According to the guidelines, all cinema halls and theatres will ensure the COVID-19 protocol including social distancing, face mask, sanitisation, installation of Aarogya Setu App , thermal screening at the entry-exit point.
