Wife of late Congressman-elect Luke Letlow considers running for his seat

Julia Letlow, the wife of the late U.S. Rep.-elect Luke Letlow, is considering running for the 5th Congressional District seat her husband was unable to fill because of his COVID-19 death last week. Luke Letlow, 41, died Dec. 29 from COVID-19 complications at Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport. He would have been sworn into office Sunday. Julia Letlow, 41, a Republican from Start in Richland Parish, is an executive at the University of Louisiana Monroe who was a finalist for the ULM president s job last fall.  Sources close to the family said community and businesses leaders have reached out to Julia Letlow asking her to run. Julia and Luke Letlow have two children, Jeremiah, 3, and Jacqueline, 1.

Oudhuis was selected by fans from 10 finalists during a voting period that ran from Jan. 1-31 on packers.com. More than 71,800 votes were cast from throughout the United States and countries around the world. An Indiana native, Oudhuis became a fan of the Packers at age 9, and has spent his life collecting Packers memorabilia, including gifts from family and friends for birthdays and Father s Days, as well as childhood keepsakes like his first Ray Nitschke jersey. His collection is housed in his basement, and he shares the special place in his home with visitors, friends and loved ones to tell the story of the Packers and encourage the next generation of fans.
