A political party in a democracy is different from other sorts of organizations. It’s not a for-profit business, nor is it a charitable organization. It’s neither a religious congregation nor a military unit. It’s not the mafia. It’s not a media business. Skills learned from all such pursuits have been useful for – and the bane of – all sorts of political parties in all sorts of paradigms. (If General Omar Torrijos famously referred to Manuel Antonio Noriega as “my gangster,” suffice to say that this may have been politics but it really wasn’t in a democratic setting.)

Introduction
Christmas has always been a joyous festival and occasion for hope and resurrection. Christmas tree as a centre piece attraction of the occasion in its triangular shape, as per Christian belief, symbolizes trinity the Christian concept of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit being in unison. St. Boniface converted the northern German Frankish tribes to Christianity in 8th century using a triangular shape fir tree. Evolving from here, Christmas tree and the whole celebration has evolved a great deal over time, space, regions and countries.
It is my fervent hope the coming days will prove there is no place for impunity in the United States. I saw what impunity could do when I worked as a journalist in Latin America in the 1970s and 1980s and the price these countries paid for the ravages of impunity.
Impunity is defined as the exemption from punishment or freedom from the injurious consequences of an action. President Donald Trump acted with impunity when he urged his followers to march to the Capitol Building after a rally on Jan. 6. He continued to act with impunity when he failed to call off the mob.
