Burglar suspect arrested following incident in Whitefield

Christopher Percival, aged 47, of Myrtle Street North, Bury, has been charged with one count of Burglary. He has been remanded in prison, ahead of an appearance at Manchester Crown Court on May 28 2021. Officers received a report on Saturday, April 24 2021, that a wallet had been stolen from a residential property on Ashbourne Grove, Whitefield. TWO men have been charged in connection with a serious sexual assault in Manchester. Brian Jalo, 23, of Sugar Mill Street, Salford and Juan Quinones, 22, of Sarnsfield Close, Manchester, have both been charged with rape. Both men were remanded in custody and will appear before Manchester Crown Court on Friday, June 18. At around 9.20pm on Sunday, May 16, police were called to reports of a serious sexual assault which is believed to have occurred at 9pm in Marble Street in Manchester. The woman is currently receiving specialist care and support.
