Parents have shown support for a testing scheme that would mean fewer isolations from schools and colleges when someone tests positive for Covid. We reported last week how Westhoughton High School in Bolton is among 10 schools in the country to join the clinical trial, which means that students who are classed as close contacts of a positive case are able to remain in school.
