LONDONDERRY – The Aviation Museum of New Hampshire will be open extra hours during the state’s upcoming spring school vacation week.
The Museum will be open on April 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for families to visit, learn about flight and have fun.
The Thursday hours are in addition to the museum’s regular public opening hours of Fridays and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays 1 to 4 p.m.
For younger visitors, the Aviation Museum has child-friendly (and COVID-19-safe) activities and exhibits, including a challenging scavenger hunt and a real airplane cockpit kids can climb into.

Aviation training center National Flight Simulator (NFS) will host an Aviation Weekend May 1-2 at its base at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT), New Hampshire. During the event, which is open to the public, NFS will display its lineup of flight training devices as well as offer free flights.

Lebanon airport gets $1.25 million for upgrades

WEST LEBANON Lebanon Municipal Airport will receive $1.25 million from the Federal Aviation Administration for upgrades at the West Lebanon facility, New Hampshire’s congressional delegation announced Wednesday.
The money, part of the FAA’s airport improvement program, will help build a runway safety area and rehabilitate the terminal building’s footprint, lighting and electrical systems.
Funds also will go to improvements to an on-site sand and chemical storage building, better protecting it from weather, according to a news release from the office of Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H.
“The grant funds provided are critical to the ability of the city to keep the airport open,” Lebanon City Manager Shaun Mulholland said in the release. “Without these funds, there would be layoffs of both public and private sector employees at the airport.”
