PALESTINE supporters picketed the offices of Gunn JCB today over JCB’s role in the destruction of Palestinian communities.
Gunn JCB boasts that it is “one of the largest and most successful dealers” of JCB construction equipment in the world.
JCB products have been used by the Israeli military to demolish Palestinian homes and communities, as well by those illegally building Israeli settlements in the occupied territories.
Manchester Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) activists demonstrated at Gunn JCB’s offices in Altrincham, Greater Manchester.
Manchester PSC activist Owen Cooper said: “We went into the building and handed in a letter asking Gunn JCB to put pressure on JCB to stop supplying Israel.

An Oldham factory was targeted by protesters yesterday, who say the manufacturer produces parts for military drones which have been used against Palestinians in Gaza.
Elbit Systems is an Israel-based international defence electronics company engaged in a wide range of programmes throughout the world.
Elbit Systems owns Ferranti Technologies based in Cairo House in Waterhead. Campaigners say that the Oldham factory is just one part of Britain’s military support for Israel.
