Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line plans to resume sailings on July 2 and is accepting direct bookings on its new website.
Chief executive Oneil Khosa said: “The past year has been incredibly challenging for the cruise industry and as an independent, family-owned and operated boutique cruise line, this has been particularly difficult for us.
“That said, we are pleased to announce that our website is now live and accepting bookings for sailings beginning July 2, when Grand Classica will make [its] much-anticipated return to the Bahamas.
He added: “Since the initial outbreak of Covid-19 we have remained one of the few cruise lines that reported no cases of the virus onboard our ships.

Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line has announced that, as of today, its website has officially been relaunched and is back online. And with the relaunch of the site, bookings are now open for sailings starting on July 2, 2021.

It s been a bumpy year for the Florida-based Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line, as it has for most cruise lines.
The family-owned company, which normally operates two-night sailings from West Palm Beach, Fla., to Freeport on Grand Bahama Island, had to drop anchor in March 2020 when the CDC issued its No Sail Order. We were the first cruise line to achieve green status from the CDC early in the No Sail period, said Kevin Sheehan, the line s president. This meant that we produced a comprehensive document that implemented all the health and safety protocols and more required by the CDC for a passenger cruise line.
