Bond has been increased to $1 million for a man found with several guns and thousands of rounds of ammunition during a traffic stop.
That man was arrested on a traffic stop in Grand Traverse County last week. The Sheriff’s Office says 28-year-old Morgan Young was speeding, but once they pulled him over, the deputy noticed several weapons in the back seat.
Captain Randy Fewless says, “It was determined that there were several firearms in the vehicle, which by law are not allowed to be in the passenger compartment.” He adds, “There was a handgun, a shotgun, as well as an AR-15-style rifle that were in the vehicle. Again those were all a concealed weapons violation which is why the subject was arrested.”
