Man accused of torturing, sexually assaulting teen sisters will stand trial for 17 felonies Updated Feb 26, 2021; TRAVERSE CITY, MI – A man accused of abducting, torturing and sexually assaulting two teenage sisters over the summer will stand trial for 17 felonies. The victims, who were 13 and 15 years old during the July incident, gave more than four hours of testimony against 20-year-old Brandon Reyes at his preliminary hearing on Thursday, Feb. 25, in Grand Traverse County court, WPBN/WGTU reports. The judge in the case ruled that there is enough evidence to move forward with a trial, the report said. One charge was reduced from first-degree criminal sexual conduct to second-degree CSC.

The ceremony took place virtually this year and honored a list of officers and citizens for their efforts in 2020.
