With the COVID-19 pandemic apparently coming to a close, many Americans are preparing for a no-holds-barred summer filled with many activities that the coronavirus has outlawed for more than a year. Here are some tips from the National Park Service to help visitors make the most their trip.
Plan Your Visit
Some destinations like California s Yosemite National Park implemented an entrance reservation system to better manage visitors during the pandemic. And even though pandemic restrictions are being lifted left and right, Yosemite plans to continue enforcing a limited number of daily visitors through the end of September 2021.

If you plan to travel to Yellowstone National Park this summer, plan ahead and recreate responsibly to protect yourself and this wild and awe-inspiring place.
Summer is Yellowstone’s most popular season. Expect long lines at entrance stations, extremely busy facilities and destinations, as well as delayed travel times due to heavy traffic and wildlife jams. If you want a less crowded experience, arrive early or stay late and avoid main attractions such as Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic Spring, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and Norris Geyser Basin during peak hours.
The famous Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks in the US set a new visitor record

The globally renowned Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks have made new visitor records in April. As per official records, the Yellowstone National Park reported 40 percent more travellers, (nearly 19000 more visitors than in April 2019). In order to meet the rising number of travellers, the park had to hire more employees and get them vaccinated. The park has also prepared more campgrounds that are available only by reservation.
Cam Sholly, the superintendent of the park predicted the same in March. He said, I predicted a record season, and I think we re on track for that,
