The series in Wahpeton, N.D. began on Friday and the Lady Knights won in five sets 20-25, 25-21, 25-21, 20-25, 15-10. On Saturday morning, the Wildcats evened things up by sweeping NPCC 25-21, 25-18, 25-20, to force a deciding third match. In that match, the Knights won the first two sets 25-22, 25-23. NDSCS won the third set, 25-21. But NPCC won it in the fourth, 25-21.

It came from Robert Richmond, who died in 2019 and left the GRCC Foundation nearly $10 million, according to a news release Thursday. GRCC leaders are reviewing how to best use the donation to support student services and modernize buildings. “This is an extraordinary and generous investment in GRCC, its students and our greater community,” GRCC President Bill Pink said. “Mr. Richmond saw firsthand how GRCC gave his employees the knowledge and confidence to grow and thrive.
