Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath fired all guns at the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress government in West Bengal on Tuesday. Addressing his first rally in the poll-bound state at Malda, Yogi Adityanath accused Mamata Banerjee of pursuing appeasement politics which he said was endangering national security.Â
Yogi Adityanath said the Bengal CM was allowing illegal immigrants into the state just for the sake of her vote bank politics.Â
Highlighting the poor law and order situation in the state, Yogi Adityanath said issues like cow smuggling, love jihad will be addressed immediately if the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is voted to power in the state.Â

NEW DELHI: The Election Commission of India (ECI) will announce the dates for the
assembly elections in four states, including West Bengal, and the Union Territory of Puducherry on Friday.
The
poll panel will hold a press conference at 4.30 PM today during which it is expected to announce the dates for assembly elections in four states - West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Kerala - and the Union Territory of Puducherry.
The terms of the legislative assemblies of the four states are coming to an end in May and June.
Election to the 294-seat
West Bengal Legislative Assembly is expected to be held in March – April. Due to the
Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Smriti Irani on Friday said that violence has defined the tenure of the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress government in West Bengal.
Irani, during her visit to the poll-bound state, said, Violence has defined the tenure of Mamata Banerjee. Democratic voices across Bengal have decided that they will make sure that TMC this time loses the assembly elections.
She further stated, We are grateful that the people of Bengal are coming out in large numbers to support us either in the Yatras or programs that are being conducted by our senior leadership. This indicates that this time in West Bengal the lotus will bloom.

The Election Commission of India on Friday announced schedule for assembly polls in West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry. As per the schedule, voting for the assembly elections to these four states and one Union Territory will be held between March 27 and April 29.
