Vaccine Advisory Group OKs AstraZeneca Vaccine For Adults 65 and Over
In a virtual news conference, federal health officials and representatives from the National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) discuss changes to recommendations concerning the administering of COVID-19 vaccines. NACI has expanded its age group for AstraZeneca vaccines to now include adults 65 years of age and older. Speaking with reporters are Dr. Caroline Quach-Thanh, chair of NACI; Dr. Matthew Tunis, executive secretary of NACI, and Dr. Marc Berthiaume, the director of the Bureau of Medical Science at Health Canada.
