Stalking dog walkers, fines for unauthorised car journeys, telling Britons to snitch on their neighbours, and arresting protesters at Britain’s sacred space for free speech are just some examples of British policing during 2020, the year of the Chinese virus.
When Prime Minister Boris Johnson passed the emergency coronavirus legislation on March 23rd, he also gave police expanded powers to enforce it, telling Britons: “If you don’t follow the rules, the police will have the powers to enforce them, including fines and dispersing gatherings.”
‘Have you got a licence for that fresh air?’
No sooner had police been given the powers than they were flexing their muscles in using them, oftentimes publishing details of supposed COVID crimes on social media.
This is the season when newspaper columnists are expected to pull on their Old Moore outfits and have a stab at predicting the year ahead.
Forgive me, but I opted out of this hackneyed tradition years ago, even though I d never really taken it seriously.
No matter how outrageous or spectacularly silly my forecasts, they rarely came anywhere close to anticipating what fresh madness the next 12 months had in store.
This year the Butterfly Effect has been working overtime. Chaos theory holds that a butterfly flapping its wings in the Amazon can trigger an unstoppable chain reaction which leads to a tornado on the other side of the world.

Left wing media are rending their collective garments over the burning of a couple BLM flags, writes Catholic League President Bill Donohue, all the while winking at the destruction of statues, the vandalization of churches, and the looting of shops.
The hypocrisy is palpable, Dr. Donohue suggests in his essay Wednesday, when mainstream media get up in arms over the burning of banners of the Marxist Black Lives Matter movement and yet defend the torching of Bibles and the American flag.
All summer long, violent members of BLM and Antifa wreaked havoc around the nation, burning people’s property, assaulting peaceful citizens, toppling statues, and looting stores, Donohue notes, while the media defended them as “peaceful protesters.”

The director of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts has been fired after signalling her approval when an “anti-colonial” art collective destroyed a bust of the founder of the academy, King Frederick V.
The Danish Ministry of Culture announced that Kirsten Langkilde would be stepping down from her role as director of the fine art academy this week. The move comes after severe criticism of her apparent approval of the destruction of the bust, which in a video of its removal appeared to show the work of art smashing as it tumbled down a harbour wall into the water.

Council for Inclusive Capitalism packed with pro-abort, LGBT+ globalists
VATICAN CITY (ChurchMilitant.com) – Seeking to reset the economy under the slogan of “inclusive capitalism,” Pope Francis has created a coalition of abortion and LGBTIQ+ supporting corporates.
Launched on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, the “The Council for Inclusive Capitalism with the Vatican” (CICV) is comprised of 27 of the world’s top business leaders and intends to “create a more equitable, sustainable and trusted economic system.”
The CICV lists “ethical behavior” as one of its “principles of governance” and is tasked with “answering the challenge by Pope Francis to apply principles of morality to business and investment practices.”
