Health care workers in San Bernardino County began receiving the COVID-19 vaccine Wednesday.
Five high-risk, front-line health care workers at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center are among the first in the Southern California county to receive the first doses.
The county received 15,600 initial doses of the Pfizer vaccine, which was federally approved for emergency use. The arrival of the vaccines provides hope among health care workers in their 24/7 efforts to help people get better and stay safe, officials said in a press release Wednesday morning.
