In February 2021, Sydney played host to a new live musical experience named ‘Drummer Queens’. New Idea can exclusively reveal that Marcia Hines was offered a contract last week to reprise her role as judge on Channel Seven’s revamped version of
Australian Idol.

Marcia was one of the three original judges on the hit show alongside Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson and Mark Holden, when it first aired on Network Ten.
But there is set to be a twist.
Joining their ranks? Former Australian Idol judge Marcia Hines (pictured with mean judges Kyle Sandilands, left, and Ian Dicko Dickinson, right) could be back - but this time as a controversial judge.
