DepEd Undersecretary and Spokesperson Atty. Nepomuceno Malaluan said that the agency is still awaiting for the final and official documentation on the pilot testing of face-to-face classes next year.
“It was approved, but our protocol is to wait for the official documentation by cabinet secretariat of the cabinet decision,” Malaluan told the Manila Bulletin.
On Dec. 14, Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said that the presentation of the DepEd to conduct pilot implementation or “dry run” of face-to-face classes in select schools within areas with low COVID-risk for the whole month of January 2021 has been approved by the President.
