Earlier this week, Haaretz reported that the Shin Bet secret service department responsible for the prevention of Jewish terrorism is investigating an incident in which a stun grenade was thrown at a home in Nes Tziona. The suspected motive is the family s involvement in the protest movement against Netanyahu. The Shin Bet is also investigating the graffiti incidents.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday he had chosen deputy head of Mossad to be the next chief of the Israeli spy agency without the knowledge of his coalition partner Defence Minister and Alternate Prime Minister Benny Gantz, local media reported.
Following the announcement, Gantz hailed the Mossad official s experience, he voiced his fury at not being consulted ahead of the decision. Jerusalem has place for a Palestinian capital, Defense Minister and Alternate Prime Minister Benny Gantz told Arabic language newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat on Thursday. Jerusalem must stay united, but it will have place for a Palestinian capital, he said. It s a vast city, filled with sites that are holy to all of us.
Gantz also said that he does not see peace in the Middle East without settling the Israeli-Palestinian conflict first. The centrist leader added that Israel will not withdraw to pre-1967 borders but the sides can reach a compromise.

Benny Gantz believes Jerusalem is spacious enough for a Palestinian capital whilst still remaining united, according to an interview in a Saudi newspaper published Thursday.
Gantz who serves as defense minister and alternate prime minister told the Arabic language newspaper Asharq al-Awsat that Jerusalem is a spacious city that is full of sites which are sacred for all .
