The Diamond Mine has been confirmed for tonight’s WWE NXT episode on the USA Network.
As noted, the group debuted last Tuesday with Roderick Strong, Tyler Rust, Hideki Suzuki and manager Malcolm Bivens. Strong beat down NXT Cruiserweight Champion Kushida as NXT went off the air, then The Diamond Mine posed over the champ as NXT went off the air. WWE had been airing teaser vignettes for the group for weeks.

1. Io Shirai and Zoey Stark vs. Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon vs. Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai to become number one contender to the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship. Madness ensued. Shirai ended up hitting Kai and Gonzalez with a moonsault. Blackheart hit Kai and Gonzalez with a suicide dive. Moon hit Kai and Gonzalez with a top rope cannonball. Stark hit Kai and Gonzalez with a dive. The show cut to picture-in-picture. [c]

Great American Bash special. Tonight we ll see face-offs, confrontations, set-ups, and establishing matches all for what will take place one week from tonight. We should also see more of NXT s newest stable,
Diamond Mine, and maybe even learn what they re all about. Enough from me, let s get to some wrestling!

Shotzi Blackheart & Ember Moon vs Raquel Gonzalez & Dakota Kai vs Io Shirai & Zoey Stark – Triple Threat Tag Team Match

It’s the go home show for the Great American Bash and a lot of the card is either set or all but set. They still have a few hours to get the rest of it ready and that should work out well, though I’m not sure how much they are going to put on the show. Samoa Joe still has people to choke out too so let’s get to it.

Shotzi Blackheart/Ember Moon vs. Dakota Kai/Raquel Gonzalez vs. Io Shirai/Zoey Stark
The winners get a Tag Team Title shot next week. Moon and Shirai starts in on Gonzalez, who runs them both over with straight power. Blackheart comes in to springboard armdrag Gonzalez but Kai makes the save. Everything breaks down and they all brawl on the floor, setting up dives from Shirai and Moon, followed by a heck of a springboard dive from Stark to take everyone out.
