A York City woman was arrested Wednesday, accused of stabbing her 5-year-old daughter repeatedly in the stomach and back, according to police.
Cierra Moniqy Allen, 30, of the first block of West Maple Street, is charged with attempted criminal homicide, aggravated assault with extreme indifference, aggravated assault on a victim younger than 13 and endangering the welfare of a child. All are felonies.
She was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge Lindy Lane Sweeney and is in York County Prison without bail. Allen was denied bail because she has mental issues,” according to court records, and may be a danger to herself and others, including her children.

A 6-year-old boy called 911 and reported that he was home alone with his younger brother after their mother allegedly went to see her boyfriend, according to charging documents.
Moraima Rivera-Colon, 27, of the 400 block of South George Street in York City, faces two felony counts of endangering the welfare of children by a parent or guardian.
She was arrested and arraigned Feb. 9 before District Judge Lindy Lane Sweeney and is free on $1,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled Monday before District Judge Ronald J. Haskell Jr.
