Two Southlake Carroll school trustees arrested on charges of violating Texas Open Meetings
The trustees have been at the center of a fight over diversity and inclusion in the district

After a months of controversy surrounding Southlake’s plan to address diversity and inclusion in schools, two Carroll trustees were arrested on a charge of violating the Texas Open Meetings Act, according to a Fox 4 news report.
Carroll ISD Board president Michelle Moore and vice president Todd Carlton were indicted in Tarrant County and are accused of deliberating outside of a designated meeting, the news outlet reported.
