Moga (Punjab) [India], May 2 (ANI): While expanding its Yeoman s services toward the society, Moga Police on Sunday has started the free cab service for senior citizen, who wants to get him or herself vaccinated against COVID-19 in the district Moga.
According to District Public Relations Office, Harmanbir Singh Gill stated that a helpline number 9656896568 has been launched. Any senior citizen, who wants to get him or herself vaccinated, can contact on this number. Moga Police would provide him or herself free cab service.

In what appears to be a glimpse of possible irregularities in the data related to COVID-19 cases across the State, glaring mismatches have cropped up in the death toll in Coimbatore district.
Cross-checking of COVID-19 related data shared by the district administration with the data shared by the State Health Department in the daily bulletin have shown mismatches in death toll. It was also found that the media bulletin has been listing COVID-19 deaths days after their actual dates.
As per the daily statement issued by the District Public Relations Office (DPRO), four people died of COVID-19 in Coimbatore district between April 20 and 26. However, the bulletin issued by the Health Department reported eight COVID-19 deaths (all at the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital). The Covid-19 situation seems to be improving in the district. Not only this, even the process of the Covid vaccination has picked up pace. There are 17 live centres in the district where the vaccination is under way and 2,500 health workers have been vaccinated in the first phase so far. No side-effect of the vaccine has been reported in the district till now.
DC Apneet Riyait said this while addressing residents during the District Public Relations Office’s Facebook page. She said about 8,000 health workers of the district would be vaccinated in the first phase. The frontline workers will be vaccinated afterwards. She said if any doubt persists in anyone’s mind, they could contact the health experts.
