Guwahati: The trade licence of a Maruti Suzuki India dealer was cancelled in Guwahati, Assam. The Assam Transport Department cancelled one of its Maruti Suzuki dealer s license as it was allegedly selling the old vehicle as new. The dealer of the country s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki painted the old cars and sold it to the customers as new cars. An official of the Transport Department, Assam informed about the same on Tuesday. Gautam Das, the District Transport Officer (DTO) of Kamrup Metropolitan said that a person filed a complaint at his office as well as at the Commissionerate of Transport against the car dealer for allegedly cheating the customers.
