Film and Food Fest, which takes place September 23-26, will feature four days of outdoor cinema, with classic movies and recent releases, stand up comedy from some of the UK’s best-loved comedians, local street food from each city and specially-curated short films from regional film makers in each location. Each Thursday evening of Film and Food Fest will feature a special showcase of short movies from some of the UK’s finest independent filmmakers. Different in each region, the showcase will highlight the work of local creatives, giving their films a major platform, and giving audiences an exclusive chance to see some fantastic new cinema. £2 from every ticket sold for the short film nights will also be used to support local film organisations within each city.
