MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A cold front will move across the Mid-South on Sunday bringing showers and storms. Peak timing of Sundayâs severe storms will extend from mid-afternoon through late evening. Sundayâs primary severe weather risks will include damaging winds and heavy rainfall. Additionally, a few storms could produce very large hail through early evening.

Dicey weather could slow down truckers and supply chains this week across the eastern half the country.
Strong frontal systems, plenty of humidity and increasing instability will produce periods of torrential rain and intense thunderstorms Monday through Wednesday.
