The YMCA of Northern Rock County is continuing our service to our community and is partnering with the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center to host a blood drive at the Janesville YMCA on Friday, March 19th from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. In this time of crisis, there is a national blood shortage, and our YMCA is positioned and honored to HELP! • All blood donations are now tested for COVID-19 antibodies • Get a pair of MVRBC branded socks when you come to give blood while supplies last! To ensure the safety of everyone, staff and donors are REQUIRED to wear a mask and follow all social distancing regulations while visiting the facility and giving blood. If you do not have a mask, the YMCA will provide you with one.

March 8, 2021 Studstill Media Photo MENDOTA – Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center will hold a blood drive from noon until 5 p.m., Friday in Conference Room C at OSF HealthCare Saint Paul Medical Center in Mendota. Volunteer blood donors are invited to support the local blood supply by scheduling an appointment to give blood by calling the Community Health Services Department at (815) 539-1411.
