One Rock Capital Partners, a New York private equity firm, has purchased the bottled water brand as part of a $4.3 billion acquisition of Nestle Waters North America (NWNA), the Swiss food and beverage giant’s U.S. bottled water division. The deal, announced Wednesday, Feb. 17, includes all of Nestle’s assets in Michigan, including a massive bottling factory in Mecosta County and several high-capacity groundwater extraction wells that have been the focus of intense criticism in recent years.
