EAST GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. â An East Grand Rapids man has been arrested in connection to child pornography, Michigan State Police announced Tuesday.
Michael Anthony Rosales, 43, was arrested after an undercover investigation into his online activity and a search warrant at his home.
Additional evidence was seized during when police conducted the search warrant.
Rosales was lodged at the Kent County Jail.
The Kent County Prosecutorâs Office charged Rosales and he was arraigned on child sexually abusive activity (aggravated distributing), child sexually abusive material (aggravated possession) and two counts of using a computer to commit a crime.

ST. JOSEPH, Mich. â A 36-year-old St. Joseph man was arrested in connection to possessing child sexually abusive material and computer crimes, according to a news release Monday.
Alexander Paul-Ticknor Rendell was arrested Jan. 29 and has been charged with aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material.
The investigation was initiated by the Fifth District Computer Crimes Unit in Coldwater when an individual was found to be downloading a large amount of child sexually abusive material.
A search warrant was conducted at Rendellâs home and police seized digital evidence, as well as conducted an interview.

CARO, MI The day before his trial was to begin, an ex-Michigan probation officer facing nearly 60 sexual assault charges had his case dismissed, though prosecutors subsequently refiled the charges.
In dismissing the case on Monday, Jan. 11, the presiding judge had some strong words for the prosecution, accusing them of being unprepared.
The trial of Ryan C. Purdy, 48, was to begin Tuesday before Tuscola County Circuit Judge Amy Grace Gierhart. Prosecutors in August 2019 charged Purdy with 58 charges 29 counts each of first- and third-degree criminal sexual conduct.

BAY CITY, MI Just after his 78th birthday, a Bay City man learned he will spend at least two years in prison on a child pornography charge.
Bay County Circuit Judge Joseph K. Sheeran on Monday, Dec. 21, sentenced Gerald D. Eichinger to concurrent terms of two to 15 years and two to 10 years in prison. Sheeran gave Eichinger credit for three days already served in jail.
Sheeran also ordered Eichinger to pay $326 in court costs and fines.
