’Disoriented’ missing man found alive on snowmobile trail in Northern Michigan

OTSEGO COUNTY, MI – An “ill and disoriented” man who went missing in Northern Michigan has been found.
Troopers from the Michigan State Police Gaylord Post were dispatched to a residence on Van Tyle Road in Otsego County’s Elmira Township in the early morning hours Monday after a caller reported that a 42-year-old man staying at the residence left on foot in a state of confusion and could not be located by family members
The missing man was not dressed for the weather and was unfamiliar with the area, police said. Troopers conducted an initial area search and were unable to locate the man.
