Woman trapped in car dies in rollover crash on I-94 in Taylor, police say

TAYLOR, MI - A woman driving on I-94 in Taylor died Sunday morning after getting trapped in her car in a rollover crash, police said.
Troopers responded to the crash around 9:30 a.m., Feb. 21 to eastbound I-94 near Monroe Boulevard, said the Michigan State Police’s Metro Detroit post.
First responders discovered a single car rolled over with the driver still inside, police said. Troopers were unable to evacuate the driver from the car, but initiated CPR until Taylor Fire Department paramedics arrived, police said.
Man accused of home invasion, vehicle theft flees police, crashes into utility pole

DETROIT – A suspect is accused of breaking into a Detroit home, demanding a woman’s guns and car keys, stealing her vehicle and then crashing into a utility pole while attempting to evade police, WDIV Local 4 reports.
The male suspect sustained minor injuries during the crash, according to a news release from Michigan State Police Metro Detroit. Police deployed a Taser in order to arrest him.
Detroit Police responded to the home invasion, kidnapping and stolen vehicle incident, and later called MSP for assistance around 8:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 13.

MACOMB COUNTY, MI – One person has been arrested in relation to shots fired calls Saturday night across Macomb County, police said.
Michigan State Police troopers stopped a passenger vehicle around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, on Romeo Plank Road in Armada Township for traveling 84 miles per hour in a 55 MPH zone.
