Liquor License and Permits Suspended for Greek Islands Eatery in Plymouth for Violations of MDHHS Emergency Order
The Michigan Liquor Control Commission (MLCC) has issued an emergency suspension of the liquor licenses and permits for G.I. Poros, Inc.,
d/b/a Greek Islands Eatery in Plymouth.
The licensee violated the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) February 4, 2021 Gatherings and Face Mask Order that was in effect at the time the violations occurred, that include:
allowing non-residential, indoor gatherings without requiring patrons to be seated
exceeding 25 percent of normal seating capacity
allowing prohibited intermingling
lack of social distancing

Plymouth bar, eatery hit with liquor license suspensions
The Michigan Liquor Control Commission has suspended the liquor licenses and permits of a Plymouth bar and restaurant, alleging violations of state emergency orders aimed at curbing the spread of COVID-19.
The commission said in a news release that it found five violations at G.I. Poros Inc., d/b/a Greek Islands Eatery. Stefan Stefanakis, a manager for the company, said the violations were assessed against Ebenezer, a bar the firm operates beneath the restaurant.
Jeannie Vogel, a spokeswoman for the commission, said the licenses of both establishments are covered by the suspension.
