MACOMB, IL-City of Macomb Office of Downtown Development recognizes Mr. Sweeper as a Historic Downtown Legacy Business Enterprise.
Mr. Sweeper, located at 204 N. Lafayette Street, has been locally owned and operated by Lowell and Janet Armstrong since 1986. Mr. Sweeper repairs most brands, sells new and refurbished vacuums and has all the cleaning accessories and products that you need right here in Historic Downtown Macomb.

Cuba High May Senior of the Month

CUBA The Cuba High School staff has selected Carley Seward as the May Senior of the Month. For this honor, she received a $50 gift card from program sponsor MidAmerica National Bank.
Seward is the daughter of Jason and Heather Seward, Cuba.
While in high school, she has been a member of the FFA and served on the prom committee. After high school, she plans to attend Spoon River College and get her Associate’s Degree in business.
Seniors of the Month are selected for their academic performance as well as their leadership and citizenship qualities.
Community Work Day in Canton

CANTON Saturday, May 1 the Canton Area Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Canton Rotary Club and United Way hosted a Community Work Day.
Among those volunteering their time were employees from MidAmerica National Bank and their family members.

Stone named January Senior of the Month

MACOMB Atoa Stone, the son of Brian and Alisi Stone, has been named the MidAmerica National Bank Senior of the Month for January 2021.
Atoa is very involved at school in Marching/Concert Band, Basketball, Tennis and Tech Crew
He has earned honors throughout his high school years, including National Honors Society, Eagle Scout Rank, and the Duty to God Achievement.
Community involvement is also very important to Atoa. He has helped at Helping Hands Volunteer Service, Scouts of America, Church Choir, and as a member of Nauvoo Stake Youth Committee. Hobbies include playing volleyball, reading, listening to music, camping, singing, and spending time with friends and family.
