Middletown Pride to kick off June 1 with rainbow crosswalk dedication FacebookTwitterEmail A LGBTQIA crosswalk is located in front of Main Street Market, 386 Main St., Middletown, as a celebration of Middletown Pride.Contributed photo / City of Middletown MIDDLETOWN The city’s third Pride festival, in commemoration of Pride Month, will kick off with a crosswalk dedication on Main Street and flag-raising ceremony at City Hall June 1. The crosswalk on Main Street (in the central block between Washington and Court streets at 386 Main St.) has been painted in honor of Pride Month and the return of Middletown Pride, according to a press release. The crosswalk stretches across the entirety of Main Street, and it incorporates the design of the Quasar Progress Pride Flag.

The plan calls for eliminating the POCD and parking offices, and creating a Department of Land Use and separate Department of Economic and Community Development. The Parking Department will be incorporated into the new DECD.
