Celeste Marte-Lebron, a 49-year-old Lowell woman, died on April 20 from the injuries she suffered in the fire on March 31, WCVB reported, citing the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office. The victim’s death was confirmed Wednesday. On the night of the fire, a person was driving on Varnum Avenue when they saw flames inside a home and called 911, according to the news outlet. Officers who responded to the scene found Marte-Lebron with burn wounds, and she was taken to a Boston hospital.
