18-year-old man fatally shot in Malden

An 18-year-old man was fatally shot Tuesday evening in Malden, according to authorities.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting shortly after 7 p.m. on Bowdoin Street, Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Malden Chief of Police Kevin Molis said in a joint statement.
When authorities arrived at the scene, they found the 18-year-old victim suffering from gunshot wounds, according to the statement.
The man was taken to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, the district attorney and police chief said in their statement.
No further details were released about the fatal shooting.

At approximately 7:03 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting on Bowdoin Street. Upon arrival, officers located an 18-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds, according to a statement from Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Malden Chief of Police Kevin Molis.
The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead, the statement said. An open investigation is being conducted by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office and the Mass. State Police assigned to that office, as well as the Malden Police Department.

Jaden Britto-White, 18, of Malden, died in a fatal shooting on Bowdoin Street in Malden on Dec. 29 just after 7 p.m., according to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Malden Police Chief Kevin Molis.
Malden Police responded to a report of a shooting and located Britto-White suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The preliminary investigation suggests Britto-White was standing outside of his apartment building when two men allegedly approached him and shot him.
The investigation is being conducted by the Malden Police Department, Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, and the Massachusetts State Police assigned to that office.
