A WOMAN has died after a crash involving a van and a pedestrian in a Herefordshire village. An ambulance service spokesperson said crews were called to reports of a crash involving a pedestrian in Dovecotts, Mansel Lacy, at 3.48pm on May 6. We sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham to the scene, the spokesperson said. Crews arrived to find a woman in a critical condition with bystander CPR already in progress. Crews took over treatment and administered advanced trauma care to the patient. Sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts nothing could be done to save the woman and she was confirmed dead at the scene.”

The air ambulance has been called in after a man was found in a critical condition on a Staffordshire bridge.
The chopper - along with various other medical resources - attended the Queensville Bridge in Stafford shortly after 1pm today (May 10).
A WOMAN has suffered potentially life-threatening injuries in a house fire in Herefordshire. Three Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Hereford fire station were called to reports of the fire just before 4.30pm on Sunday, May 9, at Much Dewchurch. A fire service spokesperson said one female casualty in her 70s with severe burns was treated by the ambulance service. An ambulance service spokesperson said: “We were called at 4.30pm on Sunday to reports of a house fire at a property in Much Dewchurch. Two ambulances, two paramedic officers, the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham and two Mercia Accident Rescue Service (MARS) doctors attended the scene.
