A DOG walker has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after falling in a field near Leominster. West Midlands Ambulance Service said it was called shortly after 9am this morning to the field in Monkland, with one ambulance and the Midlands Air Ambulance sent to the scene. With help from Leominster, Hereford and Eardisley fire crews, the man was taken by air ambulance to Hereford County Hospital. We were called at 9.09am to reports of a patient who had fallen near Monkland Village Road, an ambulance service spokesperson said. We sent one ambulance and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham to the scene.

A woman has died at a North Staffordshire property.
Paramedics, including the Midlands Air Ambulance, rushed to North Street, in Leek, at around 8.30am on Saturday following reports of a medical emergency.
TERENCE EDWARD JEYNES TERRY Passed away suddenly at home on December 1st, 2020, aged 74 years. A devoted Husband. Loving Dad to Tracey and Gary and Grandad to Terri-Louise, Taylor and Madison. Funeral Service to take place at Worcester Crematorium on Monday, December 21st at 1.45 p.m. Family flowers only please with donations to RSPCA sent c/o Bedwardine Funeral Services. Tel. 01905 748811. MARY JEAN WATKINS Of Constance Road, Worcester. Passed away peacefully in hospital on 9th December, 2020, aged 92 years.
