I have always been a gym person – just a heavy one. In my 20s and early 30s, despite doing five spin classes a week, I was 14 stone and a size 20. I knew nothing about a healthy diet, so I’d come home most nights and eat a huge bowl of pasta. But I now know you can’t out-train a bad diet.
