Bemidji resident arrested after man found dead Friday
A Bloomington man is dead and a Bemidji man has been arrested after an alleged homicide on Friday, according to a release from Beltrami County Sheriff Ernie Beitel.

PUPOSKY, Minn. A Bloomington, Minn., man is dead and a Bemidji, Minn., man has been arrested after an alleged homicide on Friday, May 21, according to a release from Beltrami County Sheriff Ernie Beitel.
At approximately 2 a.m., the Beltrami County Dispatch Center received a report of an assault occurring at a residence in rural Puposky, Minn. Upon arrival, it was learned that an adult male died of homicidal violence, according to the release.

Authorities say a Bemidji man is in custody after the fatal assault of a Bloomington (MN) man in Beltrami County.
At about 2:00 AM last Friday, the Beltrami County Sheriff’s office got a report of an assault at a residence in Puposky (MN), north of Bemidji.
Upon arrival, authorities learned that 53-year-old Burgess Palmore died of “homicidal violence,” according to a release from the sheriff’s office.
Schulman is being held in the Beltrami County Jail on unrelated criminal charges, pending arraignment in Beltrami County District Court.
An autopsy by the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office reported the manner of death as homicide, according to the sheriff’s office.
Bloomington man dies after assault in northern Minnesota

DURAND TOWNSHIP, Minn. (FOX 9) - A Bloomington, Minnesota man died after an assault in northern Minnesota, according to the Beltrami County Sheriff s Office.
On Friday at 2 a.m. officials received a report about an assault in the 1000 block of Durand Drive NW in Puposky, which is an unincorporated community in Durand Township.
When deputies arrived, they learned a man, later identified as 53-year-old Burgess J. Palmore, had died from homicidal violence. The Midwest Medical Examiner s Office ruled his death as homicide.
A 21-year-old man of Bemidji was arrested at the scene. Charges are pending.
