Douglas âDougâ Muesing
MINNEAPOLIS Douglas “Doug” James Muesing, age 74 of Minneapolis (formerly Nicollet) died on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021, at the VA Hospital in Minneapolis.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 19, 2021, at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Nicollet. Pastor Micah Plocher will officiate, and burial will follow in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in rural Nicollet where full military honors will be provided by the Nicollet American Legion Honor Guard.
Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. on Friday at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Nicollet.
The Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes of New Ulm are assisting the family with arrangements at this time.
Lindsay Marie Overbay
Lindsay Marie (Wilfahrt) Overbay, age 37, of Maple Lake, formerly of New Ulm, was unexpectedly taken from us too soon on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.
A private family service is being held with the Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes of New Ulm.

Lindsay is survived by her husband of 9 years, Donald “Donnie” Overbay of Maple Lake; her children, Gavin and Ava Overbay; her parents, Mary and Larry Wilfahrt of New Ulm; her sister, Sara (fiancé Justin Refsland) Lien of Hastings, Jen (Ryan) Schmid of New Ulm; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

NEW ULM Harvey J. Veit Sr., age 97, of New Ulm died peacefully on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at the Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery in New Ulm.
The New Ulm Area Comrades of Valor Honor Guard will provide full military honors at the service.
The Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes of New Ulm are assisting the family with arrangements at this time.

Harvey is survived by his daughters, Brenda Braun of New Ulm, Barbara (Kendall) Johnson of New Ulm; his sons, Michael (Sheri) Veit of Phoenix, Arizona, Harvey (Tiny) Veit Jr. of New Ulm, Robert Veit of Rosemount; his 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
