(AP) With more people getting COVID-19 vaccines, the Albuquerque International Sunport is restoring some flights to its operation. City officials announced Thursday that several flight routes will be added back at the Albuquerque airport and other flights will increase their frequency. Among the returns is Delta Air Lines will resume non-stop service this weekend between the Sunport and Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport in Minnesota. Meanwhile, jetBlue will boost its non-stop flights to New York City from two to four times weekly to daily until July. Then the flight will be available five times per week until the end of the summer.

21 May 2021 A JetBlue flight was forced to make an unscheduled landing after a passenger sexually harassed a woman and was seen snorting a “white substance”, according to flight attendants. Flight 915 was travelling from New York’s JFK airport to San Francisco on Sunday when it was forced to land in Minneapolis after a passenger began “acting erratically and aggressively toward crewmembers and other customers”. Twitter user Matt Kawashima, who was on board the flight, managed to capture footage of a flight attendant explaining why the plane had to make an unscheduled landing. “Uhhh my @JetBlue flight JFK-SFO just got diverted to MSP because an anti-masker was snorting coke in the bathroom and sexually harassing another passenger… props for to the crew for dealing with this maniac,” Kawashima said in a Tweet containing the video.

In September, Sun Country Airlines will launch new, nonstop service from Bradley International Airport to Orlando. “We are thrilled to offer new service on Sun Country Airlines giving our passengers even more options to travel conveniently and affordably,” Kevin Dillon, executive director of the CAA, said in a statement. “While Sun Country Airlines is already familiar to Bradley International Airport due to their existing cargo and charter operations, we are excited that they are expanding their footprint at the airport with the introduction of passenger service to Minneapolis. We look forward to this strengthened partnership and future route launches with Sun Country Airlines.”
