The real highlights of my many years in partisan political experience were the times I got to spend one on one or in small groupings with Mondale. Most memorable were the national conventions, starting in 1968 when Mondale was trying to influence Humphrey toward a more anti-Vietnam position.

fairness is overrated” Holt failed to share a breaking development that could possibly throw the murder and manslaughter verdicts against former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin into question. In reporting on the request for a retrial, Holt refused to note the possibility of juror misconduct.
On Tuesday, a photo surfaced featuring juror Brandon Mitchell wearing a Black Lives Matter shirt and hat along with word that he had attended a rally in Washington, D.C. where the family of George Floyd spoke. It was an inconvenient controversy that Holt hid from his viewers:

MINNEAPOLIS: Derek Chauvin, the white ex-policeman convicted of murdering the African-American man George Floyd, asked on Tuesday (May 4) for a new trial on claims of jury and prosecution misconduct.
