Put this one right up there in the category with politicians who travel with heavily armed protection details while advocating for gun confiscation laws that would violate the Second Amendment.
The Daily Caller has taken some time to examine the campaign spending reports of a few members of the “The Squad” first and second term members of Congress Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Presley and took note of various expenditures listed as “security,” “security consulting,” and “security services.”
The members of The Squad are quite well known for their calls to “Defund the Police”. But they aren’t quite as forthcoming with their “calls” for security services when they deem them necessary for their own safety and well-being.

How exactly is this helpful? Other than to Joe Biden’s need to pander, that is?
President Joe Biden said Tuesday that he is “praying the verdict is the right verdict” in the trial of former Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin and that he believed the case to be “overwhelming.”
Biden, ahead of a meeting with lawmakers in the Oval Office, told reporters that he was only weighing in on the trial into the death of George Floyd because the jury in the case had been sequestered. He confirmed that he called Floyd’s family on Monday and said he “can only imagine the pressure and anxiety they’re feeling.”

A protest march from the heart of Ball State University s campus to Muncie City Hall saw thousands make their voices heard in what was perhaps one of the largest protests this city has ever seen.
The community also had forums on police and race relations with local leaders including Muncie Mayor Dan Ridenour, Muncie Community Schools CEO Lee Ann Kwiatkowski, Delaware County Sheriff Tony Skinner and other representatives from local law enforcement.

In Chauvin s trial, the prosecution and defense gave their closing statements Monday. Now, the 12 members of the jury are sequestered as they deliberate a verdict.
