Daily Energy Insider Published on April 23, 2021 by Chris Galford © Shutterstock At a virtual climate summit Thursday, President Joe Biden made the ambitious announcement of a new U.S. greenhouse gas pollution reduction target, aiming to cut 50 percent of emissions by 2030, when compared to 2005 levels.
