Florida Woman Posed As Student To Promote Her Instagram Page
Investigators said Audrey Francisquini, 28, snuck on to the campus of a Miami-area high school and handed out pamphlets printed with her Instagram account
MIAMI (AP) A 28-year-old woman who wanted to promote her Instagram page attempted to blend in with students at a Miami-area high school, police said.
Monday’s stunt at American Senior High School landed Audrey Francisquini in jail, where she’s facing charges of burglary, interfering with a school function and resisting arrest without violence, records show.
Francisquini started handing out pamphlets printed with her Instagram account after sneaking onto the campus around 8:30 a.m. Monday, police said. She had a black backpack and carried a skateboard as she walked through the hallways, recording herself.
Francisquini was also using her phone to record herself wandering the halls, the report said.
Security guards found her wandering the school halls and confronted her, and she told them she was looking for the registration office, the report said.
But instead of going to the registration office, she continued to walk through the hallways and stop students, the report said.
When security confronted her a second time, she refused to stop and left the building before fleeing the school property, the report said.
Police said they were able to use her Instagram account to find her, and Francisquini was arrested at her home in North Miami Beach.

The process is being conducted in a conference room, with School Board Chair Dr. Rosalind Osgood representing the board, with help from Miami-Dade County Public Schools attorney Walter Harvey, who is providing his services pro bono.
“Under Mr. Runcie’s leadership, student achievement has improved,” said Runcie’s lawyer, Sherry Culves, at the start of the meeting. “He remains steadfast in his position that he will be vindicated of the indictment against him.”
“As we move through this process, it’s very important to the board that we are fair to Mr. Runcie and fair to the school district,” Osgood said to reporters after the meeting.
