Two dead, at least 20 injured in shooting at Florida banquet hall KATE FELDMAN
Two people were killed and more than 20 others injured in a south Florida shooting early Sunday morning.
Three people got out of an SUV outside a banquet hall in Hialeah, just north of Miami, and began firing “indiscriminately” into the crowd milling outside a banquet hall around 1 a.m., according to the Miami-Dade Police Department.
The gunmen then got back into the SUV and fled the area.
Police found two victims dead at the scene and eight others who were taken to hospitals in Miami-Dade and Broward.

Officers had their firearms drawn as they entered the casino, according to
WSVN, a local TV station. “Everybody out, now,” an officer ordered players and visitors at the casino, the report adds.
Moments after the shooting, several people outside of the casino ran inside of the gaming property for protection from the gunfire. Some hid in the manager’s office.
