According to authorities, three people were shot. Police said all the victims are teenagers.
It happened Wednesday evening in the area of Southwest 222nd Street and 115th Avenue.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired at approximately 8:40 p.m.
Upon arrival they found three juvenile males with gunshot wounds.
One victim, a 17-year-old, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Miami-Dade Police.
Two others, both age 16, were rushed to a nearby hospital, each with a gunshot wound to an extremity, police said.

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Miami Gardens detectives are asking the public for help with finding Brandon Hunter.
Hunter, 30, is a person of interest in the hit-and-run crash that killed Stephan Maze, 35, on March 9 near the intersection of North Miami Avenue and Northwest 189th Terrace.

On Wednesday afternoon, there were still flowers, a stuffed animal, and candles around a wooden cross that marked the area where Maze was killed. Maze’s grieving mother, Kesta Nelson, was in tears, as she continues to ask for justice.

Boyfriend of missing woman from California says she disappeared while they were at Bayside Marketplace

23-year-old Angela Morrisey was visiting South Florida from California with her boyfriend, 23-year-old Amir El-Badry.
He told Local 10 News that she is also the mother of his two children and has never gone this long without contacting him or his mother.
The couple was last together at Bayside Market Place in Downtown Miami.
“I love you very much and I just want you to be safe,” El-Badry said. “I just want her to come home.”
He told Local 10 that he and his girlfriend arrived from Sacramento last Friday.
