3 thieves involved in coin laundry burglary in Miami

MIAMI – Police are searching for three thieves who broke into a coin laundry business in Miami early Friday morning.
Surveillance video shows a white car pulling up to the 24-hour Magic Cycle Laundry at 6071 W. Flagler St. around 3:30 a.m.
Two people get out, but their intentions are not to put in a load of clothes.
“I saw them in the camera. What they were doing, they were just breaking in breaking everything,” said Glen Cabezas, who owns the business.
The video shows one man in a white shirt taking a quick look around and then smashing the glass door with a hammer.

$5,000 reward offered for information in Little Havana murder

MIAMI, Fla. – A $5,000 reward is being offered for any information that could lead to the arrest of who murdered a 34-year-old woman found dead in a Little Havana neighborhood last Wednesday.
Miami police say Jane Elizabeth Humphreys was the victim who was discovered by neighbors lying in a pool of blood on the street.
It was around 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 27 when a witness said he stepped outside because he thought he heard fireworks, then realized that it was the sound of about seven gunshots. “It was a high-caliber weapon because it was very loud,” the man said.

Detectives believe the person driving the car hit and dragged a man on purpose before getting away.
25-year-old Jader Zeledon Ruiz died from his injuries.
The cruel crime was caught on camera.
It happened just after 10 p.m. on Jan. 31 in the parking lot of a small shopping center off Southwest 11th Street and 27th Avenue.
The surveillance video from that night was released by the Miami Police Department.
“We’re putting this video out there in hopes that someone will not only recognize this vehicle but also has information on the person responsible,” said Miami police spokeswoman Kenia Fallet.
1 victim airlifted after Miami Gardens shooting

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Police are investigating a shooting Thursday afternoon in Miami Gardens that led to one victim being airlifted to a nearby hospital.
The investigation is centered around a home in a gated neighborhood in the 300 block of NW 207th Street.
The gunfire rang out before 1 p.m., police say.
A medical helicopter was used to transport the victim to a trauma center, but the circumstances of the shooting remain unclear.
